if im doing a public run with bot and someone hostlies me how do i get bot to go after him

I'm not necessarily sure. I don't think you could write something to specifically hunt down a player.

Then again, I'm not a scripter, I wouldn't know necessarily. If there were a way, the bot would have to get the player's name and class, and then single them out and attack once it found them. Without set-up points to jump to in teleporting, it might be very hard to do, unless there was a specific place they attacked you such as on the way to Baal's throne room or the like.

the script (if i remember correctly) doesnt go AFTER the player
its treats player as monster if in X range of player=attack and kill like any other monster which would mean it'd telestomp/etc/etc like if it was a regular ole venom lord or whatever

This link is your solution, it seems. Although there are soem problems with it, that once you attack hostile players, it will not revert back to simply killing other monsters. That is the reported bug at any rate.
