The original story to aids is that a researcher/scientist was doing experiments on monkeys in Africa, and some how got the monkeys blood into an open wound, contracted aids, brought it home to his wife, had children who carried the disease, past that on to partners etc etc etc. as far as the government with holding a cure, i don't think that is totally accurate. the disease mutates from human to human, so to cure the disease each human would need a different vaccine. so the above post was correct, the cure for aids IS in fact money, with enough money you could have a custom vaccine. the research on monkeys and aids is astounding due to the fact that a monkeys DNA is immune to aids, monkeys show very few signs of even having the disease. there is rumors that George Bush Sr. developed aids as chemical warfare, but i doubt it is true. but anything is possible.
