Hammerdin Baal Running Prob

I hope this is in the right spot feel free to delete if it is not.

I have a level 88 Hammerdin.
Great gear
Hoto, Enigma, CtA, Spirit Monarch, Shako, +3 Skill ammy, Chance chain guard gloves, traveler boots, Arach mesh belt.
My hammers max out at 12k damage right now, im not sure if thats low or high.
My resistances are weak though, everytime i go into a baal run they drop down into the negatives. I thought good gear was suppose to solve this problem. Can someone give me some advice on how to fix this in anyway.

I dont have anything to trade for that stuff, i traded to get what i have niw and got some of it for free.

Some people will tell you to use skill charms. Offensive skillers add more damage (for you AND merc) then combat. But I'm going to tell you a great tip. Do Not Use Skillers!

Classic Hammer Build
2nd weapons slot: cta & Spirit
1st weapon slot: Hoto & Hoz +Um
Head: Shako + Um
Armor: Enigma (MagePlate for low str req, 1k def=good)
Belt: Arachnid
Gloves: Chance Guards
Boots: War Travs
Rings: Soj & Soj
Amulet: Maras
Charms: 1x Gheeds, 1x Anni, 1x Torch, 10x 7mf Sc

2.8k-3.6k health with bo on
13k hammers
full resist
high defence, high block, lacking hit recovery


My Hammer Build
2nd weapons slot: cta & Spirit
1st weapon slot: Hoto & Spirit (base resi >=40) vortex
Head: Rare Tiara/Diadem (2Pally + 20cast) OR Griffons Diadem (1skill +25cast)
Armor: Enigma (MagePlate for low str req, 1k def=good)
Belt: Arachnid
Gloves: Magefist
Boots: War Travs
Rings: Soj & Soj
Amulet: Crafted (2Pally + 5-20cast)
Charms: 1x Gheeds, 1x Anni, 1x Torch, 10x 7mf Sc

2.8k-3.6k health with bo on
12k hammers, but casts faster (kills quicker, tele's quicker) -> I tested the change in a averaged 20min run before the tier cange, 15minutes averaged after, and better loot!
full resist if high-res equipment, otherwise fire resist will be low and you will need to make up for that with a few charms.
high defence(lower then classic by around 2-4k), medium block, high hit recovery
The Cast Tier requires 125 to make it the the next cast speed. You are able to switch out magefists for chancies if you make 125 without them.

Thank you, I didnt know charms played such a big role in resistances.

For  level 89, how am I suppose to lets gain good items to trade for others?
